What it is

Sunlight is an online telehealth company run by GLP-1 LLC, which lists a Seattle, Washington address. It is best known for compounded GLP-1 weight-loss medication and says it has more than 100,000 customers. It also sells sermorelin as a self-injected shot under the skin, usually taken in the evening. No troche or nasal form is offered. Sunlight explains why: sermorelin breaks down in the gut, and injection is the route used in published research. Licensed clinicians prescribe it, and licensed US compounding pharmacies prepare and ship it. Sunlight says it is LegitScript-certified. Sermorelin is available in every US state except Mississippi.

How it works

Everything happens online. You complete a medical visit with a licensed clinician, and Sunlight says a prescription can be written within a day. The order then ships from a US pharmacy with tracking by email and text. The product page promises free one- to two-day shipping. The FAQ is more cautious, at three to five business days after approval. Sunlight lays out the timeline as a prescription within a day, a pharmacy shipment within another day, then free, discreet two-day delivery. Treat that as the best case and the FAQ's range as the planning number. The kit comes with storage instructions, so check them as soon as the box arrives. Each month brings a four-week supply, injection supplies and dosing instructions. You also get ongoing access to Sunlight's care team, which you can reach by phone or email as well as through your dashboard. Many Sunlight patients take sermorelin alongside its compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide, and a clinician reviews any current GLP-1 prescription first. It is also sold on its own.

Pricing transparency

Sermorelin starts at $159 a month. Here "starting at" is not about dose, because Sunlight says the price is the same at every dose. There is no monthly membership fee and no hidden fees. The price includes the telehealth visit, the prescription, injection supplies and free shipping, and no insurance is needed. Each monthly order is a four-week supply, so ask whether refills come every four weeks. If they do, a year is thirteen orders, about $2,067 rather than $1,908. You can cancel any time from your patient dashboard or by contacting the care team. Changes made before your next billing date apply to the next shipment. The sitewide promo banner advertises Sunlight's semaglutide price, not sermorelin, so ignore it here.

Branded vs compounded

There is no FDA-approved sermorelin on the US market, and Sunlight says plainly that compounded medications are not FDA-approved. Its partner pharmacies are US-based and FDA-registered, but none is named. No strength is published, so ask your clinician for the dose and vial concentration. Sunlight's help center says the sermorelin usually arrives as a freeze-dried powder with a vial of bacteriostatic water. You mix the two before use and keep the mixed vial in the fridge. The printed insert in your box gives the dose, schedule and storage steps for your prescription. Sunlight does not prescribe it for anyone under 18, during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or with hormone-sensitive cancer, pituitary disease, uncontrolled thyroid problems or diabetic retinopathy. Message the care team right away about unusual joint pain or swelling in your hands or feet. Ask about labs too. The product page promises sermorelin without bloodwork delays. Sunlight's own clinical article on sermorelin has said baseline labs, including IGF-1, are needed before starting. Sunlight says most patients notice better sleep first, often within weeks, with body changes over months.
