Is oral sermorelin cheaper than injections?
Not reliably. Of 18 sellers that publish both an oral and an injectable sermorelin price in the same billing unit, 8 charge the same for both, 9 charge less for the oral product (by up to $100 a month) and 1 charges more for it (by up to $23 a month). Compare the two prices at the seller you are buying from rather than assuming the tablet costs less.

Do sermorelin sellers bill monthly?
Most do, but 6 of the 81 sellers that publish a price bill every four weeks instead: Invigor Medical, Luvo Health, MintRx, REMEVi, WePeptideRx and Woodwork. A four-week cycle is charged 13 times a year, not 12, so the advertised figure understates a year's cost by about 8% against a monthly reading.

Do sermorelin sellers charge a membership on top of the medication?
4 sellers that publish a sermorelin price also require a membership on top of it: Eden ($99 a month, $39 for the first month), Hone Health ($25–$155 a month), Meto ($29 a month) and ElitePhysiqMD ($89 a month). The medication price each advertises does not include that fee, so the monthly bill is the two added together.

Is sermorelin FDA-approved?
Not as anything you can buy today. Sermorelin acetate was FDA-approved as Geref, under NDA019863 (approved 1990) and NDA020443 (approved 1997), both held by EMD Serono, and both are now listed as discontinued. Sermorelin sold in the US today is compounded by a pharmacy, and compounded drugs are not FDA-approved or reviewed by the FDA for safety, efficacy or quality before they are dispensed.

Do you need a prescription for sermorelin?
Yes. All 105 sermorelin sellers reviewed by Sermorelin Picks sell it as a prescription drug, so an order goes through a licensed clinician, usually by an online intake and a telehealth visit, before a compounding pharmacy ships it.

What dose of sermorelin was used in studies?
The only placebo-controlled adult trial (PMID 9141536, 1997) injected 10 µg per kilogram of body weight under the skin each night, which is 700 µg for a 70 kg adult. Sellers commonly market a flat 200–300 µg a night, below the trial dose for most adults, and no published dose-finding trial supports that range. Your dose is your prescriber's decision.

Does sermorelin work?
It raises your own growth hormone release, but the outcome evidence is thin. The only placebo-controlled adult trial, 19 adults over 5 months (PMID 9141536, 1997), found thicker skin in both sexes and more lean body mass in men only, with no change in sleep quality, and it has not been replicated. Claims that sermorelin reverses aging are not supported by controlled human outcome data.

Usually it is not stated. Of 105 sermorelin sellers reviewed by Sermorelin Picks, 2 state that lab work is included in the price and 3 state it costs extra; for the rest, their own pages do not establish it either way. Ask before ordering whether an IGF-1 test is required and who pays for it.

Is sermorelin available in my state?
Usually, but few sellers publish a state list for sermorelin. Only 24 of 105 sellers reviewed by Sermorelin Picks state where they ship it, and 5 of those name states they exclude. For any other seller, check its own FAQ or ask during intake, because a prescriber must be licensed where you live.

How does Sermorelin Picks order sermorelin sellers?
Commercially first. 9 sellers are Partners that pay Sermorelin Picks when a reader buys through its links; Partners are labeled and listed first on the buyer's guides, so that order is commercial and is not a judgment of quality. The price index and the cheapest-sermorelin guide are sorted by price alone. A commission never changes a price, a fact or a review's wording.
