AHBARx review
By Nora Vance · Updated October 2026
One price, four forms
AHBARx, a Newport Beach telehealth practice, sells sermorelin as an injection and as under-the-tongue strips, tablets and troches. Every form costs $299, delivered monthly.
Our verdict
AHBARx stands out for range and for stating how much drug you get: a 9 mg vial a month, or eight 1,000 mcg strips. It charges $299 for every form, which is at the high end for compounded sermorelin, and a follow-up consult sits before each refill.

What it is
AHBARx is the online practice of Ahura Wellness PC, founded by Dr. Nima Yazdanpanah, a pain management specialist and physiatrist, with a returns address in Newport Beach, California. It sells weight loss, longevity, sexual health and skin treatments, and has four sermorelin products. Sermorelin Acetate Injection is a 9 mg vial given under the skin. Sermorelin Film Strip is a 1,000 mcg strip that dissolves under the tongue, eight to a pack. Sermorelin plus Glycine RDT is a rapidly dissolving tablet with 1,000 mcg of sermorelin and 125 mcg of glycine, also taken under the tongue. Sermorelin Troches are small dissolving tablets, also 1,000 mcg each, eight to a pack. Care comes from independent provider groups the help center names: Beluga Health, AnazaoHealth and Qualiphy. They make the clinical decisions, not AHBARx itself.
How it works
You choose a product, add it to the cart and go through an online intake reviewed by a licensed provider. If prescribed, the medication ships to your door. AHBARx calls its model physician-guided continuity of care: each refill or continuation is reviewed in a follow-up consultation before it ships. The provider also coaches you on injection technique, site rotation, dosing and safe handling. Services are available to patients physically located in any of the 50 states, and the site carries a LegitScript certification mark. Refills are managed in your account, and changes need to be made at least 48 hours before the next order date. Orders ship by USPS, FedEx or UPS with tracking once the package leaves the pharmacy. Common injection sites are the abdomen, thigh or upper arm.
Pricing transparency
Each priced product is $299, delivered monthly. That buys a 9 mg vial of the injection, eight 1,000 mcg film strips or troches, or a monthly supply of the glycine tablets. Over three months that is $897, over six months $1,794 and over a year $3,588. Your account shows the next process date, which is when the next charge and order go out. Cards are accepted through Stripe and Adyen, and AHBARx does not take insurance. There is no cheaper long-term plan and no separate membership fee shown. A pop-up offers 35 percent off your first eligible treatment if you give your email; treat that as a one-time discount, not the regular price. The refund policy is firm. Prescription medication cannot be returned once dispensed, and once your card is charged and the package is with the carrier, all sales are final. You can cancel the subscription, change your address or update payment from your account before an order ships. Lost or damaged packages are reshipped. If a payment is declined, AHBARx emails you and keeps retrying the card for a time before the order is delayed.
Branded vs compounded
There is no FDA-approved sermorelin on the US market, and each AHBARx page says the product is not FDA-approved. All four are compounded at U.S.-based, FDA-registered compounding pharmacies, which the site does not name. The injection is the form with research behind it. The strips and tablets are taken under the tongue, a route with much less evidence, and the glycine tablet adds an amino acid AHBARx pitches for relaxation. Ask your provider how often to take the strips, since eight strips is the stated monthly pack. The injection page cites a 2020 University of Maryland review prepared for the FDA. That is background on sermorelin's past clinical use, not proof that this product works.

Best for
Someone who wants to choose between an injection and an under-the-tongue form with a stated amount per month, and who values a provider check-in before every refill.
Who should look elsewhere
Price-led shoppers. Many online sellers charge well under $299 a month for a sermorelin injection.
The evidence behind what AHBARx prescribes
We grade the molecules, not the marketing. Here is what the human data actually shows for each thing on their menu.
- Does sermorelin work? What the trials actually measured
Sermorelin reliably makes your pituitary release growth hormone. Beyond that the evidence is one placebo-controlled trial in 19 adults from 1997 — lean body mass up in men only, nothing in women, and no effect on sleep in either.
- Is Sermorelin FDA-Approved? The Real Answer
Sermorelin was FDA-approved once, under a different name, and that approval is gone. What is sold today is compounded — which is legal, but not the same thing as approved.

- Is AHBARx legit?
- AHBARx is a sermorelin injection seller. Its stated availability: All 50 states. It displays a LegitScript certification badge. Treat that as the company's own claim: LegitScript's public checker is gated and shows the same page for any domain, so a shopper cannot confirm it there. What the company does not say on its own pages: a single monthly price you can check before an intake. Ask for those in writing before you pay.
