What it is

RxSpan MD is a telehealth practice founded by Dr. John Diaz, a board-certified plastic surgeon with a private practice in Beverly Hills. It covers weight loss, sexual health, hair loss and longevity. Its longevity menu includes NAD+, glutathione, GHK-Cu, MIC B12 and sermorelin. Sermorelin is sold as Sermorelin ODT, an orally disintegrating tablet that dissolves in the mouth, so no injections are needed. The homepage also mentions a sermorelin injection, but the longevity catalog lists only the tablet, so ask if you want the injectable form. Like all sermorelin sold in the US, the tablet is compounded rather than an FDA-approved finished drug. RxSpan MD says it serves patients in all 50 states, though some services can vary by state with provider licensing. You must be 18 or older to use it. The clinical side is run by Lion MD, a nationwide medical group led by two named physicians, Dr. Ana Lisa Carr and Dr. Kelly Tenbrink.

How it works

You choose a plan and complete a secure medical intake, which RxSpan MD says takes about five minutes. Then you are matched with a provider for a virtual consult. The FAQ adds that many patients are approved from the assessment alone, and a short video visit is booked only when a clinician needs more information. A licensed provider reviews your case and, if it fits, approves the plan and sends the prescription to a licensed pharmacy. RxSpan MD says the provider stays with you for check-ins and refills. It advertises unlimited appointments and 24/7 messaging with the care team. Delivery is free and expedited. A prescription is not guaranteed. You pay at checkout, and the provider reviews your information afterward, so ask how a refund works if you are not approved.

Pricing transparency

There are four plans for the tablet, all paid upfront for the term you choose. Monthly costs $179 a month. A three-month plan costs $166 a month, six months $150 a month, and twelve months $142 a month. Each price includes the consult, the medication, supplies, shipping and support. RxSpan MD says there are no hidden fees and that you can cancel or change plans anytime. Financing is offered. The longer plans only save money if you stay on them. A twelve-month plan at $142 is about $1,704 paid upfront, against $2,148 for twelve monthly payments of $179. If you are new to sermorelin, start monthly or with three months and see how you respond. Before you commit to a longer term, ask how a cancellation on a prepaid plan is refunded. The card on the catalog page still labels $179 as the first month, so confirm the renewal price at checkout. A banner across the site offers 10% off any order with a promo code, and the checkout total applies it. Treat that as a first-order discount, not the ongoing rate.

Branded vs compounded

There is no FDA-approved sermorelin on the US market, so RxSpan MD's tablet is compounded to order by a licensed pharmacy. The FAQ names four partner pharmacies: Belmar, Strive, Epiq Scripts and Casa Pharma Rx. It does not say which one fills the tablet, so ask if that matters to you. No strength or daily dose is shown on the catalog page. The published human research on sermorelin used injections, so a dissolving tablet is the less-studied route. Ask the provider for the strength of each tablet, how many come in a month, and how the dose compares with an injection.
