Vea Health review

Sermorelin plus a lifetime app

Vea Health prescribes compounded sermorelin injections after a clinician review and bundles lifetime access to its iPhone health app, but it shows no treatment price until you pick a plan and start an order.

Our verdict

Vea Health suits an iPhone user who wants sermorelin and would actually use a food, sleep and training app alongside it. The clinical side is a standard online intake and clinician review. The weak spot is price: Vea prints a dollar value for its app but not for the treatment. You only see what sermorelin costs after choosing a plan, so compare carefully before you pay.

What it is

Vea Health is a telehealth company selling weight loss, longevity, skin, sexual health and hair treatments online. Sermorelin sits in its longevity line, described as "Longevity care, with licensed clinician review." What sets Vea apart is the app. Every treatment comes with lifetime access to the Vea app, which logs meals from a photo and connects activity, sleep and treatment notes. It also offers AI guidance on what to adjust. Vea values that access at $1,080 over 36 months and includes it at no extra fee. The catch is that the app runs on iPhone only for now. Android is listed as coming soon.

How it works

Getting started happens in one flow. You choose a plan, place the order and complete a secure online health intake covering your history, goals and current medications. A licensed clinician then reviews it and decides whether sermorelin is appropriate. If it is prescribed, the medication ships discreetly from a licensed U.S. pharmacy chosen by your location and prescription. Vea tells you which pharmacy after the prescription is issued, not before. Ongoing care runs through a patient portal, where you can reach your care team about the treatment and any side effects. Vea keeps the two tools separate: the portal handles clinical care, and the app handles daily habits. Vea says its care is available in all 50 states. The product page does not mention lab work, so ask during intake whether bloodwork is needed.

Pricing transparency

This is where Vea is least helpful. The sermorelin page carries one large figure, $1,080, but that is the app's value, worked out from Vea's quarterly app rate of $89.99. It is not what the treatment costs. The page then says "Choose your plan and see pricing," so the real price appears only after you choose a plan and begin an order. That makes Vea hard to compare against sellers that print a monthly rate. The terms help with billing: subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, and Vea must show the recurring price and billing frequency before you buy. You can cancel before any renewal with no cancellation fee. If a clinician declines to prescribe before anything ships, Vea says you get a full refund. Once your order is compounded or shipped, the medication cannot be returned.

Branded vs compounded

Vea's sermorelin is compounded by licensed U.S. compounding pharmacies, and its safety page says plainly that compounded drugs are not FDA-approved. The route is an injection: the safety page lists injection-site redness, swelling, itching or discomfort among the common side effects, along with headache, dizziness, flushing and nausea. Less common risks include allergic reactions, blood-sugar changes and joint or muscle discomfort. Vea does not publish a dose, vial size or schedule; your clinician sets those. Its sourcing pitch is strong: U.S.-only suppliers, FDA-registered facilities and batch testing for purity, potency and sterility. Sermorelin may not suit people who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or who have certain pituitary or growth-hormone-related conditions.

Pros and watch-outs

What we like

  • Lifetime access to the Vea app included with treatment
  • Full refund if a clinician declines before anything ships
  • Cancel any renewal with no fee and no advance cutoff
  • Care offered in all 50 states
  • Clear compounding disclosure and side-effect list

Watch-outs

  • No sermorelin price shown until you choose a plan and order
  • The only big number on the page is the app's value
  • App is iPhone-only; Android not yet available
  • No dose, vial size or schedule published
  • Pharmacy named only after you are prescribed
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled

Best for

iPhone users who want sermorelin prescribed online and would use a meal, sleep and training tracker next to it. It also fits shoppers who like a full refund if they are not approved.

Who should look elsewhere

Shoppers who want to compare prices before handing over details, and Android users who want the app. Anyone looking for a published dose or a named pharmacy up front should look at a seller that prints both.

The evidence behind what Vea Health prescribes

We grade the molecules, not the marketing. Here is what the human data actually shows for each thing on their menu.

  • Does sermorelin work? What the trials actually measured

Sermorelin reliably makes your pituitary release growth hormone. Beyond that the evidence is one placebo-controlled trial in 19 adults from 1997 — lean body mass up in men only, nothing in women, and no effect on sleep in either.

  • Is Sermorelin FDA-Approved? The Real Answer

Sermorelin was FDA-approved once, under a different name, and that approval is gone. What is sold today is compounded — which is legal, but not the same thing as approved.

Frequently asked

How much does sermorelin cost at Vea Health?
Vea does not show a treatment price on its sermorelin page. You see pricing after you choose a plan and start an order. The $1,080 figure on the page is the value Vea puts on its bundled app, not the cost of sermorelin.
What do I get with the Vea app?
Lifetime access with your treatment and no extra app fee. It logs meals from a photo, pulls in activity and sleep, and gives AI guidance on habits. It runs on iPhone only, and your clinician still directs treatment through the patient portal.
What if Vea's clinician does not prescribe sermorelin?
Vea says you get a full refund if a provider decides treatment is not appropriate. Its terms add that you are not charged for a declined prescription when the decision comes before anything ships.
Is Vea's sermorelin an injection?
Yes. Vea's safety page lists injection-site reactions among the common side effects. It does not publish a dose or schedule, so your clinician gives you instructions once prescribed.
Can I cancel a Vea Health subscription?
Yes. Subscriptions renew until canceled, and you can stop the next renewal from your account, by email or by phone with no cancellation fee. Medication already compounded or shipped cannot be returned.
