What it is

iThriveMD is a longevity and hormone clinic with in-person locations across Southern and Northern California and in Scottsdale, Arizona, plus telehealth visits. It offers weight-loss medication, hormone therapy, peptides, IV therapy and diagnostic testing, and says it has treated more than 10,000 patients. Sermorelin is sold as an injection you give yourself under the skin. iThriveMD says its sermorelin is third-party tested and dispensed by a LegitScript-certified facility. Telehealth care is limited to California and Arizona.

How it works

You start with a short online intake about your health and goals, then book a free consultation. The clinical visit includes a review of diagnostic labs and a personalized plan. iThriveMD sets the dose by your age, goals and IGF-1 level, a blood marker of growth hormone activity. You can start treatment at a clinic or at home, if eligible. After that, the team tracks your progress and adjusts the plan. iThriveMD says sermorelin is usually taken before bed. It also notes that many patients follow a three-to-six-month cycle, with regular labs along the way. Medication ships monthly on every plan.

Pricing transparency

The monthly plan costs $249, billed and shipped each month. Longer plans lower the monthly rate but are billed for the whole term at once. The three-month plan is $224.10 a month, billed as about $672 every three months. The six-month plan is $211.65 a month, about $1,270 every six months. The twelve-month plan is $199.20 a month, about $2,390 a year up front. The discounts are 10, 15 and 20 percent, and they check out against the $249 base. On every plan, medication still ships one month at a time. iThriveMD says every package is paid in full at purchase and renews automatically at the same interval. A prepaid year therefore renews as another prepaid year unless you cancel first. A $100-off promotion applies to the first month only and cannot be used on the multi-month packages. No insurance is required. iThriveMD advertises no hidden fees and says pricing is the same in person or by telehealth. The page does not say whether the diagnostic labs cost extra. It also does not state a refund policy for prepaid months. One more detail: a sitewide footnote says "All memberships will be charged every 28 days." Ask whether that applies to the monthly sermorelin plan, since 28-day billing adds a thirteenth charge each year.

Branded vs compounded

There is no FDA-approved sermorelin product on the US market. iThriveMD notes that sermorelin was once FDA-approved as the brand Geref for growth hormone deficiency. That product is no longer sold, so iThriveMD's sermorelin is compounded. The page does not list the vial strength or a standard dose, because dosing is set for each patient. iThriveMD lists mild injection-site redness, headache and temporary flushing as possible side effects. Its marketing leans on anti-aging benefits such as fat loss and skin elasticity. Treat those as goals rather than promises; iThriveMD itself notes that results vary from person to person. If you stop, iThriveMD says your natural growth hormone levels drift back toward baseline over time, with no withdrawal effect.
