What it is

Taurus Meds (Taurus Medical, Inc.) is an online men's health brand best known for testosterone therapy, ED treatment and hair loss. It also sells a small peptide line: sermorelin, NAD+ and glutathione, plus an NAD+ and sermorelin anti-aging stack. Sermorelin is sold as an injection only, in a 5 mL bottle with a home kit included. Taurus says plainly that it is not a medical provider and doesn't make the medication itself. Instead, it connects you with licensed clinicians, who decide whether to prescribe. A licensed US pharmacy fills and ships the order.

How it works

You start with an online intake for the peptide you want. A licensed clinician in Taurus' network reviews your answers and decides whether sermorelin is right for you. The site says peptides are offered only to patients who meet clinical eligibility criteria, and only where state rules allow. Note the order of events. Taurus' subscription policy says your first month is charged when you finish the intake form, before a clinician has reviewed it. If the clinician turns you down for a medical reason, you get a full refund. If you're approved, the bottle and home kit ship from a licensed US pharmacy. Taurus' sermorelin page doesn't describe a video visit, required bloodwork or follow-up checks for sermorelin. Its testosterone program, by contrast, starts with a free testosterone test. If you want labs or ongoing monitoring with your sermorelin, ask before you pay.

Pricing transparency

The sermorelin injection is $179 a month. The page shows $179 struck through beside "$79 /first mo," with a banner reading "Limited Time: $79 for your first month. Auto-applied at checkout." So your first charge is $79 and later months are $179, about $2,048 for a first year. Taurus also works the price out as "Only $6.45/shot" for a 2 mcg/mL, 5 mL bottle. That's about $180 over 28 shots, which matches the monthly rate. No insurance is needed, and the sermorelin is HSA/FSA eligible. Plans bill monthly and renew automatically until you cancel. To stop, contact support or use your account at least 72 hours before the billing date. Miss that window and you are charged once more, with the cancellation taking effect the cycle after. You keep service until the end of the month you paid for, but Taurus gives no refund on a cancellation unless a clinician disqualified you. Taurus' terms also describe a recurring membership fee of $17.99 per billing period, "unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase"; the sermorelin page doesn't say whether it applies. Shipped medication is final sale, and blood work isn't refundable once ordered. If a bottle arrives damaged, report it right away; the pharmacy may replace it once you show the damage.

Branded vs compounded

Taurus' sermorelin is a compounded injection made by a licensed pharmacy, not an FDA-approved drug. That's true of all sermorelin sold in the US today. Taurus' own disclaimer says these therapies "are not FDA approved." Its homepage, though, advertises "FDA-approved medications" for the brand as a whole, which covers its other products, not sermorelin. The page gives the strength (2 mcg/mL) and bottle size (5 mL) but not your dose or how many nights a week to inject. That comes from the prescribing clinician.
