Medsol RX review
By Adrian Osei · Updated October 2026
$149 per 4 weeks, injection or dropper
Medsol RX sells sermorelin as an injection or an under-the-tongue dropper for $149 on its 4-week plan, dropping to $119 a month on a 12-month plan. It is a GLP-1 weight-loss company first.
Our verdict
Medsol RX is a reasonable pick if you want a low monthly figure and are willing to commit. The 4-week plan costs $149, and longer plans step down to $119 a month. The catch is the fine print. The sermorelin page itself quotes a vague market range, no dose is published, and canceling a monthly plan earns no refund for that month.

What it is
Medsol RX is a cash-pay telehealth company whose main business is GLP-1 weight loss: compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide, microdosing plans and branded pens. Alongside that it runs a Wellness & Longevity line with NAD+, sermorelin, B12-MIC, glutathione, Lipo-C, L-carnitine and methylene blue. Sermorelin is sold two ways under one plan, as an injection or as a dropper you hold under the tongue. Prescribing is done by Open Loop's licensed U.S. clinicians after a telehealth review. Medsol's terms name its partner pharmacy as Red Rock Compounding Pharmacy in Daphne, Alabama.
How it works
You start with an online assessment that Medsol says takes under five minutes. A licensed provider reviews your intake and builds a treatment plan, and may follow up by telehealth before prescribing. Once a prescription is approved, a licensed U.S. pharmacy prepares it and ships it to your door, usually within three to five business days. After that you have a care coach and care team for questions, refills and medication changes. Wellness plans are sold without coaching by default, though a site-wide banner currently offers free coaching with a discount. Medsol says it serves patients nationwide, but publishes no state list. Lab work is not described as part of starting sermorelin. On timing, Medsol's FAQ says people tend to notice energy and sleep changes within weeks, and body composition changes over months.
Pricing transparency
Sermorelin has one price card on the Packages page, covering both the injection and the dropper. The 4-week plan is $149. Longer plans lower the monthly rate: $139 a month on three months, $129 on six and $119 on twelve. Because the shortest plan runs four weeks, budget for thirteen fills a year, about $1,937, rather than twelve. A twelve-month plan works out to about $1,428 a year. Do not confuse these figures with the sermorelin page, which only says the typical market range is $150 to $450 a month. The $30-off banner is a promotion, so expect the card price after it ends. Medsol accepts HSA and FSA cards and offers Klarna financing. Cancel at least 72 hours before your next billing date, by email, phone or the patient portal. Miss that window and the next cycle is charged, with the cancellation taking effect after it. The refund rules depend on how you pay. On a plan billed monthly, the month you cancel in is not refunded. On a plan billed two or more months at a time, Medsol refunds the months for which no medication has shipped. That makes the longer plans less risky than they first look.
Branded vs compounded
No FDA-approved sermorelin is sold in the US, so what Medsol prescribes is compounded, and its own footer says compounded drugs are not FDA-approved. The site does not give a sermorelin strength, vial size, dose or schedule for either form. If an item arrives damaged or wrong, inspect it on arrival and report it; the pharmacy replaces it. If the form matters to you, know that the human research on sermorelin used injections. The dropper is the needle-free choice, at the same price.

Best for

Who should look elsewhere
Anyone who wants to know the dose before buying, or who wants a refund on a monthly plan if they change their mind mid-cycle.
The evidence behind what Medsol RX prescribes
We grade the molecules, not the marketing. Here is what the human data actually shows for each thing on their menu.
- Does sermorelin work? What the trials actually measured
Sermorelin reliably makes your pituitary release growth hormone. Beyond that the evidence is one placebo-controlled trial in 19 adults from 1997 — lean body mass up in men only, nothing in women, and no effect on sleep in either.
- Is Sermorelin FDA-Approved? The Real Answer
Sermorelin was FDA-approved once, under a different name, and that approval is gone. What is sold today is compounded — which is legal, but not the same thing as approved.

Frequently asked
- How much does sermorelin cost at Medsol RX?
- $149 on the 4-week plan. Longer plans cost $139 a month for three months, $129 for six and $119 for twelve. The same price covers the injection and the dropper.
- Why does the Medsol RX sermorelin page say $150 to $450?
- That page quotes a general market range and says pricing varies by provider. Medsol's own plan prices are on its Packages page, starting at $149 for four weeks.
- Does Medsol RX offer sermorelin without injections?
- Yes. The sermorelin plan is listed as injection or dropper, and the dropper is taken under the tongue. Both cost the same. Your provider decides which suits you.
- Can I use HSA or FSA funds at Medsol RX?
- Yes. Medsol says treatment is HSA and FSA eligible, and it also offers financing through Klarna. It does not bill insurance.
- Can I get a refund if I cancel Medsol RX?
- Only in narrow cases. You get a full refund if a provider disqualifies you, or if you cancel within 72 hours of signing up and before receiving any service. On a monthly plan, the current month is not refunded. On a plan billed two or more months at a time, months with no medication shipped are refunded.
