Actin review
By Nora Vance · Updated October 2026
Clear plan ladder, named pharmacies
Actin sells sermorelin injections for $179 on a month-to-month plan, dropping to $133 on a three-month plan and $116 on a six-month plan. Syringes, wipes and shipping are included, and the price does not change with your dose.
Our verdict
Actin is one of the more transparent online sermorelin sellers. It shows every plan price, names its pharmacies and its medical group, and keeps one price at every dose. The $116 headline needs a six-month plan, so expect $179 if you want to stay flexible.

What it is
Actin Health is a Miami-based telehealth brand covering weight loss, men's sexual health, women's hormones and longevity. Sermorelin sits in the longevity line next to NAD+, glutathione and B12. It is sold as a nightly injection under the skin, compounded in the US. Actin says plainly that it is not a pharmacy. Prescriptions are written by clinicians at Beluga Health, P.A., and filled by one of three named compounding pharmacies: The Pharmacy Hub in Miami Gardens, GreenwichRX in Tomball, Texas, and Hallandale Pharmacy in Fort Lauderdale.
How it works
The intake is a short online questionnaire that Actin says takes under five minutes. A licensed provider reviews it and recommends a plan, and if sermorelin is prescribed it ships straight to your door with free expedited shipping. The plan includes unlimited clinician support around the clock, dose adjustments as needed, and the wipes and syringes you need to inject. Progress is usually tracked by how you sleep, recover and feel. Actin's help center adds IGF-1, glucose and body composition to that list, and your provider can order labs if needed. Most orders ship within two to three business days of approval, in plain packaging with no signature needed. Refills run on autopilot: the next box is scheduled about seven days before your supply runs out. Actin ships to most US states and notes any state limits at checkout. Treatment length varies; some people use sermorelin for a few months and others continue longer.
Pricing transparency
There are three plans. The month-to-month plan is $179. The three-month plan works out to $133 a month, and the six-month plan to $116 a month, which is the figure Actin leads with as "Starting at $116/mo." Neither the plan page nor Actin's terms say whether the longer plans are paid up front. The terms say you are charged at the intervals shown at checkout, so check that screen before you pay. A cancellation takes effect after your current subscription period ends, and Actin's terms say subscription fees are not refundable. Actin adds "Same price. Every dose." That matters because many sellers charge more as the dose goes up. There are no membership fees, shipping is free, and supplies are included. You can skip or cancel anytime, and you can pay with an HSA or FSA card. Actin is cash-pay only and does not bill insurance. Over a year, month to month adds up to $2,148, while two six-month plans come to $1,392 at the stated rate.
Branded vs compounded
No FDA-approved sermorelin is on the US market, so Actin's is compounded, and its disclaimer says compounded medications are not FDA-approved or reviewed for safety, effectiveness or quality. Actin says it works only with state-licensed compounding pharmacies and that every batch is third-party tested for potency, sterility and endotoxins. The page does not list the vial strength or the dose, which the provider sets. Actin's FAQ says the usual routine is an injection under the skin at bedtime, five nights a week. Each box comes with storage instructions, so check whether yours needs the fridge. Actin says sermorelin is not for anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding, or who has active cancer or untreated hypothyroidism. One part of the page oversells: a chart credits sermorelin with five to eight percent fat loss and calls it the smarter path than GLP-1 drugs. Treat that as marketing, not a promise.
Pros and watch-outs
What we like
- All three plan prices shown up front
- One price at every dose
- Pharmacies and medical group named
- Syringes, wipes and expedited shipping included
- HSA/FSA accepted; skip or cancel anytime
- Batch testing for potency and sterility, per the company
Watch-outs
- The $116 rate needs a six-month plan
- Unclear whether longer plans are prepaid
- Terms say subscription fees are not refundable
- No vial strength or dose on the page
- Fat-loss claims against GLP-1 drugs read as marketing
- Compounded, so no FDA review of the finished product
Best for
A shopper who wants to see the full price ladder before starting, likes knowing which pharmacy fills the vial, and may commit to three or six months to bring the monthly cost down.
Who should look elsewhere
Anyone who wants to compare strength between sellers before buying, since the vial size and dose are not published.
The evidence behind what Actin prescribes
We grade the molecules, not the marketing. Here is what the human data actually shows for each thing on their menu.
- Does sermorelin work? What the trials actually measured
Sermorelin reliably makes your pituitary release growth hormone. Beyond that the evidence is one placebo-controlled trial in 19 adults from 1997 — lean body mass up in men only, nothing in women, and no effect on sleep in either.
- Is Sermorelin FDA-Approved? The Real Answer
Sermorelin was FDA-approved once, under a different name, and that approval is gone. What is sold today is compounded — which is legal, but not the same thing as approved.

Frequently asked
- How often do you inject Actin sermorelin?
- Actin says sermorelin is usually injected under the skin at bedtime, five nights a week, with your provider setting the exact dose. If you miss a dose, it says to skip it and take the next one as scheduled rather than doubling up.
- How much does Actin charge for sermorelin?
- $179 on the month-to-month plan, $133 a month on the three-month plan, and $116 a month on the six-month plan. Shipping, syringes and wipes are included, and there is no membership fee.
- Does Actin's sermorelin price go up with the dose?
- No. Actin says "Same price. Every dose," so a dose increase does not change your monthly plan price.
- Which pharmacy fills Actin sermorelin?
- Actin names three compounding pharmacies: The Pharmacy Hub in Miami Gardens, GreenwichRX in Tomball, Texas, and Hallandale Pharmacy in Fort Lauderdale. Medical care comes from Beluga Health, P.A.
- Can I use HSA or FSA funds at Actin?
- Yes. Actin says you can use an HSA or FSA card. It does not mention billing insurance.
- Do I need bloodwork to start sermorelin with Actin?
- Actin does not list labs as a requirement to start. It says progress is usually tracked by sleep, energy, recovery and body composition, and that your provider can order labs such as IGF-1 if needed. Lab costs are not shown on the page.
- Can I cancel Actin sermorelin?
- Actin says you can pause, skip or cancel from the Treatments section of your account, and changes made before the next shipment cutoff apply right away. Its terms add that a cancellation takes effect after your current subscription period ends, and that fees are not refundable. Before picking the three- or six-month plan, check at checkout whether it is charged in one payment.
