Shed is an online prescription service best known for compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide. It also sells branded weight-loss drugs, sexual health treatments and hair care. Sermorelin sits in its longevity line next to NAD+, glutathione and a microdose GLP-1. Shed describes sermorelin as a hormone analog that supports your body's own growth hormone, aimed at healthy aging and overall vitality. It comes in one form, an injection, taken five times a week. A licensed pharmacy compounds it under a provider's prescription, and the product is not FDA-approved.

How it works

Signing up is fully online and takes about three minutes. You fill in a form with your goals and health history. A licensed provider from Shed's network reviews it, decides whether you are eligible, and writes a personalized plan. The medication is then delivered to your door. After that, a Member Success Team keeps in touch, and Shed promises one-to-one expert care. If you want to change treatment, you can book a virtual visit with your provider from the member portal. The sermorelin page quotes Dr. Asad Niazi, an internal medicine physician. Plan on a week or more for each order. Shed's help center says partner pharmacies take two to seven business days to prepare an order, and the whole trip usually takes four to eight business days. Every order ships expedited, with tracking by email or text, but same-day and overnight delivery are not offered. Submit refill requests as soon as you are eligible to avoid a gap.

Pricing transparency

Sermorelin costs $199 a month for a one-month supply, dosed five times a week. The page also says "Starting at $199," which suggests some plans or doses cost more. It does not list any higher price, so ask what a dose change would cost. There is no prepay discount and no first-month rate shown. Read the subscription rules before you start, because Shed's help center does not agree with itself. One policy article says every subscription carries a two-month minimum. A newer version of the same policy and the cancellation guide leave it out. Ask Shed to confirm in writing, and budget for two months, about $398, until it does. To stop, go to My Subscriptions in the patient portal, open Treatment Details and choose Manage Subscription. Cancellations inside 72 hours of the billing date are not allowed. Fees are non-refundable once charged, although Shed may offer a shipment, credit or gift card instead in some cases. If you need a break, support can pause the plan for up to three weeks at a time.

Branded vs compounded

There is no FDA-approved sermorelin on the US market, and Shed states that compounded medications are not reviewed or approved by the FDA. A prescription is issued only after a licensed provider decides the treatment is right for you. The page does not name the pharmacy or give the strength it ships, only the five-times-weekly schedule. Shed's FAQ describes sermorelin in general as a nightly injection under the skin, often 100 to 300 mcg a day, used in three- to six-month cycles. It also flags caution for people with active cancer, pituitary problems, diabetes or insulin resistance, and anyone pregnant or breastfeeding. Ask your provider for the vial strength and the dose you will take. Shed's own description is broad, saying sermorelin supports muscle, fat metabolism, skin and well-being. The published human research is much narrower, so set expectations with your provider.
