What it is

Yucca Health is a telehealth company selling compounded weight-loss medication, NAD+ and sermorelin, with its site in English and Spanish. It works with licensed providers in all 50 states and with US-licensed pharmacies. Sermorelin is an injection you give yourself under the skin, usually at night. Yucca explains it well. Sermorelin copies the signal the hypothalamus sends to the pituitary, so the growth hormone released is your own. Yucca is also frank that the evidence for sermorelin in healthy adults is limited and that results vary. Its timeline is modest: possible sleep and energy changes in the first month, body composition and recovery from weeks four to twelve, then fine-tuning from month three. The company behind the brand is Brand Merchants Network, based in Beverly Hills, California. Clinicians come from partner provider networks, and Yucca says it does not make clinical decisions itself.

How it works

The intake takes two to five minutes and covers your health, medications and goals. A clinician reviews it, typically within 24 hours, and may message you for more detail. If you are prescribed sermorelin, the pharmacy prepares it in two to three business days and ships it free by two-day delivery. You are only charged after a clinician approves you. A temporary hold appears at checkout and is released if no prescription is written. Your patient portal lets you message your doctor, track progress and change your treatment. Plans renew automatically, and Yucca sends a reminder before each renewal. If a package arrives damaged, photograph it and report it within 48 hours; you can choose a free replacement or a refund. The same 48-hour window applies if tracking shows delivered but nothing arrived.

Pricing transparency

There are two plans. The monthly plan is $199 for 30 injections. The three-month plan is $475 for 90 injections, billed every three months, which works out to $158 a month. Yucca puts that saving at 20.6%. Both plans include the provider consultation, an injection kit and free shipping. Yucca promises the same price at every dose. Its terms say a locked price holds while your plan stays active, and pausing keeps it. Canceling, or switching between monthly and quarterly billing, starts you at the current price. You can pay by card or spread payments over time with a buy-now, pay-later option. To stop a renewal, cancel at least seven days before the renewal date. Canceling mid-cycle does not pro-rate; you keep the medication you paid for and are not charged again. Leaving a three-month plan early is reviewed case by case. Approved refunds are decided within two to four business days and usually reach your card five to ten business days later.

Branded vs compounded

Yucca's sermorelin is compounded. Yucca says plainly that it is not FDA-approved and that the FDA does not review compounded drugs before they are sold. It does not publish a strength or vial size, though 30 injections a month points to a daily dose. Yucca lists who should not use it: anyone with active cancer or tumor growth, a known allergy to it, or who is pregnant or breastfeeding. It asks you to mention any history of hormone-sensitive cancer or pituitary disorders. Common side effects are injection-site reactions, headache, flushing, dizziness and mild stomach upset.
