Bionomy Health review
By Nora Vance · Updated October 2026
Pay only if prescribed
Bionomy Health, a physician-led men's health clinic, prescribes sermorelin as a nightly injection for $169 a month, or $479 for three months. Your card is only held until a practitioner signs off, and there is no subscription lock-in.
Our verdict
Bionomy is one of the more buyer-friendly sermorelin services online. The intake is free with no card, you pay only for what is prescribed and shipped, both pharmacies are named, and you can cancel from the dashboard without a fee. It does not ship to Alaska or Hawaii, and its results figures are marketing.

What it is
Bionomy Health, Inc. is an online men's health practice covering testosterone, GLP-1 weight loss, longevity and peptides. Its founding physician, Dr. Pranav K. Sharma, MD, holds four board certifications, and Bionomy says he or a physician trained to his standard reviews every peptide intake. Sermorelin is its single peptide protocol, pitched to men in their 40s and 50s for sleep, recovery and lean mass. It is a nightly injection under the skin. Prescriptions are filled by Strive Pharmacy and Absolute Pharmacy, which Bionomy describes as LegitScript-certified, state-licensed compounding pharmacies.
How it works
The intake takes about two minutes and needs no card. A licensed Bionomy practitioner reviews it within 24 hours and opens a private chat. You then see a suggested protocol with its price, add a card and approve what you want. Bionomy places a hold but does not charge until the practitioner signs off, and anything not approved is refunded automatically. The dose is set from your IGF-1 baseline and training load. Bionomy plans an IGF-1 retest at week 12, and dose changes happen in chat. Sermorelin ships cold, in insulated packaging with a gel pack by 2-Day Air. The pharmacy takes one to two business days to compound it, so most orders arrive about five business days after you approve. Approvals after 5 p.m. Pacific on Friday, or over the weekend, start compounding on Monday. Every package needs an adult signature, and it comes in a plain box with no drug name outside. It cannot go to a P.O. box. Inside are the labeled vial, a printed protocol card from your practitioner, syringes, needles, alcohol pads, a getting-started insert and a sharps return mailer for used needles. Bloodwork is not required to start. If the practitioner wants it, it is ordered through Bionomy's partner lab.
Pricing transparency
Sermorelin is $169 for one month or $479 for three months, which Bionomy says saves $28. That three-month price works out to about $160 a month. There is no membership fee and no shipping charge. Bionomy says there is no subscription lock-in: you pay per refill, and you can pause and come back whenever you like. Cancel any protocol from your dashboard with no fee. If you cancel before the next fill ships, you are not charged. Once a fill has shipped it is yours, because compounded medication cannot be returned to a pharmacy. HSA and FSA cards are accepted for prescriptions. The sermorelin page does not price any bloodwork, and lab panels are not refundable once the requisition is issued, so ask what labs you need and what they cost before you approve.
Branded vs compounded
There is no FDA-approved sermorelin on the US market, and Bionomy says compounded medications are not FDA-approved as finished products. Naming both compounding pharmacies is useful; many sellers do not. Bionomy's dosing guidance is specific: inject nightly, 30 minutes before bed, on an empty stomach. Most men cycle five nights on and two off, and practitioners monitor IGF-1 and fasting glucose. The page advertises a 39 percent average IGF-1 rise and says 85 percent of members sleep deeper by week four. Bionomy bases those on member outcomes and published research, so read them as marketing, not a promise. The dose itself is not listed.
Pros and watch-outs

- Free intake, no card to start
- Card held, not charged, until a practitioner approves
- Both compounding pharmacies named
- Cancel from the dashboard with no fee; no lock-in
- Cold-chain 2-Day Air shipping with syringes included
- IGF-1 retest planned at week 12
Watch-outs

Best for
Men who want a physician-reviewed sermorelin protocol with labs-based dosing, named pharmacies, and the freedom to pause or stop between refills.
Who should look elsewhere
Anyone in Alaska or Hawaii, and anyone who wants a seller that publishes the exact dose before the intake.
The evidence behind what Bionomy Health prescribes
We grade the molecules, not the marketing. Here is what the human data actually shows for each thing on their menu.
- Does sermorelin work? What the trials actually measured
Sermorelin reliably makes your pituitary release growth hormone. Beyond that the evidence is one placebo-controlled trial in 19 adults from 1997 — lean body mass up in men only, nothing in women, and no effect on sleep in either.
- Is Sermorelin FDA-Approved? The Real Answer
Sermorelin was FDA-approved once, under a different name, and that approval is gone. What is sold today is compounded — which is legal, but not the same thing as approved.
- How to Store Sermorelin, Before and After Mixing
Powder versus reconstituted, fridge versus freezer, how long a mixed vial is realistically good for, and the signs a vial has gone off — with the real evidence, and the real gaps, laid out plainly.

Frequently asked
- How much does Bionomy Health charge for sermorelin?
- $169 for one month, or $479 for a three-month plan, which works out to about $160 a month. There is no membership fee, and shipping is free.
- When does Bionomy charge my card?
- Only after a practitioner signs off. You approve a protocol and Bionomy places a hold. Anything not prescribed is refunded automatically, and if nothing is prescribed you pay nothing.
- Can I cancel Bionomy sermorelin?
- Yes, from your dashboard at any time with no fee. If you cancel before the next fill ships you are not charged. A fill that has already shipped cannot be returned.
- Which pharmacy fills Bionomy sermorelin?
- Bionomy says its compounded medications are filled by Strive Pharmacy and Absolute Pharmacy. Sermorelin ships cold, in insulated packaging by 2-Day Air.
- Does Bionomy ship sermorelin to every state?
- No. Bionomy ships to 48 states. It does not ship to Alaska or Hawaii, because transit times there exceed the cold-chain window for injectable medication.
- What if my Bionomy package arrives damaged or late?
- Photograph a damaged box before opening it and email support within 24 hours for a free replacement. If a package runs more than three business days past the carrier's window, or a trace confirms it was lost, Bionomy reships it.
- Do I need bloodwork to start sermorelin at Bionomy?
- Not to start. The practitioner may order labs through Bionomy's partner lab, and Bionomy plans an IGF-1 retest at week 12 to guide the dose. Ask what any lab panel costs before you approve it.
