Zera Health review
By Nora Vance · Updated October 2026
$155 a month, injection or tablet
Zera Health sells sermorelin as an injection or a dissolving tablet for $155 a month, or $130 a month on a quarterly plan. It names its compounding pharmacy, Strive Pharmacy.
Our verdict
Zera Health is a fairly priced, easy-to-read option with a real choice of form. Both the injection and the under-the-tongue tablet cost the same, and the quarterly plan cuts the monthly rate to $130. Two things deserve care: an old sale banner makes the first-month price confusing, and refunds are off the table once you cancel.

What it is
Zera Health is an online telehealth platform selling weight-loss drugs, testosterone and hormone therapy, hair-loss treatment, NAD+ and sermorelin. It calls itself a technology platform rather than a medical provider, and says all prescribing decisions belong to licensed clinicians. Sermorelin comes in two forms, each with its own page. One is an injection, sold as a 3 mg or 6 mg vial. The other is an orally dissolving tablet, placed under the tongue, sold as a 30-day supply. Both are compounded by Strive Pharmacy, a licensed 503A pharmacy named in the footer of every page.
How it works
You fill in an online intake, which Zera Health says most people finish in under two minutes. A licensed physician reviews it and, if sermorelin is appropriate, sends the prescription to the pharmacy. Most patients get their first shipment within five to seven business days. Shipping is free, in plain packaging, with cold-chain packing for medication that needs it. After that you have a patient portal for messaging your provider and requesting refills. Each plan includes provider check-ins and ongoing support. Inspect each delivery when it arrives: the pharmacy replaces damaged medication when you send evidence, and replaces a wrong product. Quarterly plans add priority shipping, a dedicated care coordinator and dose adjustments at no charge. Zera Health says it operates in most US states, and that availability varies by treatment.
Pricing transparency
Both forms are priced the same way. The monthly plan is $155 a month, billed monthly. The quarterly plan is $130 a month, billed every three months, so you pay $390 at a time. Zera Health says all plans include free shipping, physician oversight and support, with no hidden fees. The confusing part sits at the top of each page. It reads "From $125 $225 /first mo." beneath a sale banner that ends "July 1," a date long past. Treat $125 as a possible first-month offer, and $155 as what a month costs. Over a year, monthly billing comes to $1,860 and the quarterly plan to $1,560, a $300 difference. Six months costs $930 monthly or $780 quarterly. Cancellation needs 72 hours' notice before your billing date, sent by email or through the chat in your patient portal. There is no cancellation fee. Refunds are not given when you cancel, only when a provider disqualifies you.
Branded vs compounded
No FDA-approved sermorelin is sold in the US, so both Zera Health products are compounded, and the site says they are not FDA-approved. It also describes them as high-potency and third-party lab tested. The injection page lists the vial as 3 mg or 6 mg but does not say how long a vial lasts or what dose you take. The tablet page says to dissolve one under the tongue at bedtime, which takes about 60 to 90 seconds, then avoid eating or drinking for 15 minutes either side. Zera Health itself concedes that the injection may reach slightly higher peak levels than the tablet. The human research on sermorelin was done with injections.
Pros and watch-outs
What we like
- Injection or dissolving tablet at the same price
- $130 a month on the quarterly plan
- Pharmacy named: Strive Pharmacy (503A)
- Free shipping, with cold-chain packing when needed
- Clear bedtime directions for the tablet
- Full refund if a provider disqualifies you
Watch-outs
- Stale sale banner muddies the first-month price
- No refund when you cancel
- Cancellation needs 72 hours' notice

- Quarterly plan bills $390 at a time
Best for
A shopper who wants to choose between an injection and a needle-free tablet at one price, from a company that names its pharmacy.
Who should look elsewhere
Anyone who wants an easy exit. Zera Health refunds nothing on cancellation, and a missed 72-hour window means one more billing cycle.
The evidence behind what Zera Health prescribes
We grade the molecules, not the marketing. Here is what the human data actually shows for each thing on their menu.
- Does sermorelin work? What the trials actually measured
Sermorelin reliably makes your pituitary release growth hormone. Beyond that the evidence is one placebo-controlled trial in 19 adults from 1997 — lean body mass up in men only, nothing in women, and no effect on sleep in either.
- Is Sermorelin FDA-Approved? The Real Answer
Sermorelin was FDA-approved once, under a different name, and that approval is gone. What is sold today is compounded — which is legal, but not the same thing as approved.

Frequently asked
- How much does sermorelin cost at Zera Health?
- $155 a month on the monthly plan, for either the injection or the dissolving tablet. On the quarterly plan it is $130 a month, billed every three months. Shipping is included.
- What is the $125 price on Zera Health's sermorelin page?
- It is shown as a first-month figure beside a sale banner whose end date has passed. The ongoing price on the plan cards is $155 a month, or $130 a month quarterly. Confirm the first charge at checkout.
- Does Zera Health offer sermorelin without injections?
- Yes. Its sermorelin ODT is a tablet that dissolves under the tongue, taken at bedtime. It costs the same as the injection.
- Which pharmacy fills Zera Health sermorelin?
- Strive Pharmacy, which Zera Health describes as a licensed 503A compounding pharmacy. The name appears in the footer of its pages and in its refund policy.
- Can I get a refund if I cancel Zera Health?
- No. You can cancel at any time with 72 hours' notice before billing, and you keep access to the end of the cycle. Refunds are issued only if a provider disqualifies you.
- What if I am disqualified after paying?
- Zera Health refunds the rest of your charges from the date of disqualification, but only for your most recent billing cycle. On a quarterly plan, that means the unused part of your latest $390 charge.
- Can I send unused sermorelin back?
- No. Zera Health says federal law generally bars returning dispensed prescription medication for a refund or reuse. That makes the 72-hour cancellation window the main way to control what you spend.
