Genesis Health review
By Nora Vance · Updated October 2026
Two forms, annual-plan prices only
Genesis Health sells sermorelin as a nightly injection and as a needle-free tablet that dissolves under the tongue. Its headline prices, $175 and $95 a month, both apply only on an annual plan.
Our verdict
Genesis Health gives you a real choice of form, with an injection kit or a sublingual tablet, plus free shipping and free follow-ups. The catch is the price. Both figures on the page are monthly rates on an annual plan, the shorter plans show no price, and the cancellation rules are strict. Get the plan you are signing up for, and its total, in writing before you pay.

What it is
Genesis Health is a cash-pay telehealth company based in Boynton Beach, Florida, best known for weight-loss medication. It also sells strength and anti-aging treatments, and sermorelin sits in that range in two forms. Sermorelin Injection comes as a 5 mL vial holding 10 mg, with a home injection kit included. Sermorelin ODT is a needle-free tablet that dissolves under the tongue. Both are compounded in the US and both are listed as FSA and HSA eligible. Genesis connects you with independent licensed providers, who decide whether sermorelin suits you and at what dose.
How it works
Starting takes three steps. You answer an online health questionnaire and meet a provider virtually; a few states require a short video call, which Genesis schedules after your first online visit. Genesis says every provider you connect with is licensed to treat patients in your state. If you are approved, your prescription is prepared and shipped to your door, and delivery is free. After that, Genesis promises round-the-clock support and complimentary scheduled follow-ups. Your provider sets the dose and the plan, and adjusts both over time based on how you respond, rather than putting everyone on one fixed protocol. Bloodwork is not mentioned on either sermorelin page, so ask if you want labs before you start.
Pricing transparency
The injection page shows "$175 per month" and the tablet page "$95 per month", each with an asterisk footnoted "With annual plan." The plan picker lists Monthly, Quarterly, Bi-Annual and Annual options but prints a price for none of them. The site menu also labels the injection "From $175 first month", which reads differently from an annual-plan rate. So the true cost of a month-to-month plan is not something you can see before starting. New customers are offered $50 off their first order. Genesis says plans are subscriptions you can cancel any time, but the policy adds conditions. You must email at least 15 days before your next billing date to avoid the next charge. Charges already processed, and orders already in clinical review, are not refunded.
Branded vs compounded
Both forms are compounded, so they are not FDA-approved and have not been reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness or quality, as Genesis states. Its partner pharmacies are US-licensed 503A compounding pharmacies, but none is named; ask which one will fill your order. The injection's 10 mg vial is the only quantity published. Since no dose or schedule is printed, you cannot tell how long that vial lasts or what a month of it buys. The tablet page gives no strength at all. Genesis says your provider will go over side effects and drug interactions at the consultation. It also asks you to contact them right away if you notice side effects.
Pros and watch-outs
What we like
- Two forms: an injection kit or a needle-free sublingual tablet
- Injection vial size stated: 5 mL holding 10 mg, kit included
- Free shipping and complimentary follow-ups
- FSA and HSA eligible
- Provider adjusts the dose over time rather than a fixed protocol
Watch-outs
- Both prices apply only on an annual plan
- Monthly, quarterly and bi-annual plan prices are not shown
- Must cancel by email at least 15 days before billing
- No refunds once an order enters clinical review
- No dose, tablet strength or pharmacy name published
- Disputes go to binding individual arbitration
Best for
Buyers who want the option of a sublingual tablet instead of needles, or a provider who adjusts the dose as they go. It suits someone ready to commit to a long plan once the provider has set it, and who will confirm the total in writing.
Who should look elsewhere
Anyone who wants to try sermorelin for a month or two at a known price. Genesis prints only annual-plan rates, so a short trial's cost is unknown until you are in the process. Look elsewhere too if you want a published dose, a named pharmacy, or an easy cancellation window.
The evidence behind what Genesis Health prescribes
We grade the molecules, not the marketing. Here is what the human data actually shows for each thing on their menu.
- Does sermorelin work? What the trials actually measured
Sermorelin reliably makes your pituitary release growth hormone. Beyond that the evidence is one placebo-controlled trial in 19 adults from 1997 — lean body mass up in men only, nothing in women, and no effect on sleep in either.
- Is Sermorelin FDA-Approved? The Real Answer
Sermorelin was FDA-approved once, under a different name, and that approval is gone. What is sold today is compounded — which is legal, but not the same thing as approved.

Frequently asked
- How much does sermorelin cost at Genesis Health?
- Genesis shows $175 a month for the injection and $95 a month for the sublingual tablet, both footnoted "With annual plan." No price is printed for the monthly, quarterly or bi-annual plans. Ask for the exact plan total before you pay.
- Is there a month-to-month sermorelin plan at Genesis?
- A Monthly plan is listed, but its price is not shown on the page. Genesis also offers $50 off a first order, and says actual price depends on the product and plan your provider prescribes.
- What's the difference between Genesis's sermorelin injection and ODT?
- The injection is a 5 mL vial holding 10 mg, sent with a home injection kit. The ODT is a needle-free tablet that dissolves under the tongue. Your provider decides which suits you and sets the dose for either one.
- How do I cancel a Genesis Health subscription?
- Email Genesis at least 15 days before your next billing date. If you cancel later than that and your medication has not shipped, Genesis may offer a 10% account credit. Once it ships, there is no refund or credit.
- Can I get a refund from Genesis Health?
- Only in two cases: if a provider finds you medically ineligible at your first consultation, or if Genesis bills you in error. Once your intake enters clinical review the order cannot be canceled or refunded.
- Can I pay for Genesis sermorelin with an FSA or HSA?
- Genesis lists both sermorelin products as FSA and HSA eligible. It does not bill insurance, so check with your plan administrator on what your account covers.
