Alinwell review

By Nora Vance · Updated October 2026

Two prices, no buy box

Alinwell, a GLP-1 weight-care service built for women, also prescribes sermorelin as a bedtime injection. Its own site lists two different starting prices, $249 and $349 a month, and the sermorelin page shows neither.

Our verdict

Alinwell explains sermorelin well and pairs it with labs and a planned reassessment. What it does not do is tell you the price clearly: the homepage and the peptide catalog disagree by $100 a month. Get the figure in writing before you pay.

What it is

Alinwell LLC runs a concierge telehealth platform whose main business is GLP-1 weight loss for women, sold at flat rates. A peptide section sits beside it, with sermorelin, tesamorelin, NAD+, BPC-157 and an ipamorelin and CJC-1295 stack. Alinwell does not prescribe or dispense anything itself. Independent board-certified providers make every clinical decision, and partner compounding pharmacies in the US prepare the medication. Sermorelin is given as a small injection under the skin at bedtime. Alinwell describes it as GRF 1-29, the first 29 amino acids of the body's own growth hormone-releasing hormone. The company is based in Southlake, Texas, and offers support by email and phone. It works by telehealth only in the states where it is licensed, and it does not publish that list. You must be 18 or older to use it.

How it works

Sermorelin starts with a short online assessment. A licensed provider reads your history and, where it makes sense, orders baseline IGF-1 labs before deciding whether to prescribe. Approved orders are compounded and shipped discreetly to your home. Alinwell's timeline is specific. You start on a small nightly dose, then settle into a pattern that is often five nights on and two nights off. From month three the provider reviews how you feel, may recheck IGF-1, and decides whether you continue, adjust the dose or cycle off. The sermorelin page lists who should not take it, including anyone pregnant or with a pituitary tumor. It also notes that steroids can blunt the effect. The side effects it names are mostly mild: redness, itching or swelling where you inject, and sometimes flushing, headache, lightheadedness or brief fluid retention. Alinwell says sermorelin is usually run in courses rather than taken indefinitely. Alinwell's homepage promises $0 if you are not approved, though that line sits in its weight-loss pitch.

Pricing transparency

This is the weak spot. Alinwell's homepage lists sermorelin "from $ 349 /mo", while its peptide catalog lists the same product "from $249/mo". The sermorelin page shows no price at all, and its eligibility button leads to a sign-in screen rather than a checkout. So there is no single number to rely on before you start. Ask the care team which figure applies to you, and what labs cost. The billing terms are clearer. A recurring order is charged right away and every 30 days until you cancel, with a reminder five to seven days before each charge. Turn off auto-refill in your portal at least 48 hours ahead to stop the next one. A new order can be canceled only within 24 hours. Medication already dispensed is not refundable. The monthly charge is one bundled price that covers the pharmacy's fee for the drug, the medical group's fee for the provider and Alinwell's platform fee. Over three months, the two listed figures work out to $747 or $1,047. Over six months they reach $1,494 or $2,094, and over a year $2,988 or $4,188.

Branded vs compounded

Alinwell's sermorelin is compounded, as all US sermorelin is, and its disclaimer says compounded drugs are not FDA-approved and not independently verified by the FDA. The pharmacy is not named, and the terms ask you to give up the right to choose your own pharmacy. The page describes timing and cycling in detail but lists no dose or vial size; the provider sets both.

Pros and watch-outs

What we like

  • Clear bedtime protocol with a month-three review
  • IGF-1 labs where appropriate, before and during treatment
  • Contraindications spelled out on the page
  • Charge reminders five to seven days ahead
  • Plain disclosure that compounded drugs are not FDA-approved

Watch-outs

  • Homepage and catalog list different sermorelin prices
  • No price on the sermorelin page itself
  • Cancel 48 hours before each charge; orders final after 24 hours
  • No refunds once medication is dispensed
  • Pharmacy, dose and vial size not named

Best for

Women already using Alinwell for weight care who want to add a supervised sermorelin course with labs, and who will confirm the monthly price with the care team first.

Who should look elsewhere

Anyone shopping on price. Until Alinwell settles on one figure, its cost cannot be compared fairly with sellers that print a single monthly rate.

The evidence behind what Alinwell prescribes

We grade the molecules, not the marketing. Here is what the human data actually shows for each thing on their menu.

  • Does sermorelin work? What the trials actually measured

Sermorelin reliably makes your pituitary release growth hormone. Beyond that the evidence is one placebo-controlled trial in 19 adults from 1997 — lean body mass up in men only, nothing in women, and no effect on sleep in either.

  • Is Sermorelin FDA-Approved? The Real Answer

Sermorelin was FDA-approved once, under a different name, and that approval is gone. What is sold today is compounded — which is legal, but not the same thing as approved.
