What it is

Nuform Health is an online peptide and wellness clinic that sells sermorelin as a course of treatment rather than a monthly subscription. You buy a kit that covers two months or four months. Each kit includes the medication, the supplies to use it, and a clinician's review and prescription. Nuform explains sermorelin as a chain of amino acids that prompts your body to make its own growth hormone rather than replacing it. Availability varies by state. Nuform is based in Troy, Michigan. It calls itself physician owned and was co-founded by Dr. Christopher Elia, DO, a board-certified neurosurgeon, with a physician assistant.

How it works

You start with an intake form that Nuform says takes about three minutes. Nuform says no clinic visit or lab appointment is needed to start sermorelin. A health specialist then reaches out within 24 to 48 hours. You meet your assigned provider and specialist, who build your plan. If you are prescribed, the kit ships, typically within one to ten business days, free and in discreet packaging. After that, Nuform's team follows up every four weeks. You keep the same provider and specialist, and you can reach them directly by phone or text. Nuform recommends a four-month cycle and says peak results usually come within three to four months. That is why it steers buyers toward the larger kit. Its FAQ says sermorelin comes as an injection under the skin and as an oral troche. The kit's safety copy describes injection-site effects, so confirm which form your plan ships.

Pricing transparency

There are two kits. The small kit is $350 and covers two months, which is $175 a month. The large kit is $650 and covers four months, which is $160 a month, and Nuform marks it as recommended. Each is billed in a single payment for the whole period: $350 every two months or $650 every four months. There is no one-month plan, so $350 is the least you can spend to start. Moving from the small kit to the large one saves $50 over four months. Both kits include supplies and the clinician review, and no membership fee is listed. The refund terms sit on a separate policy page, and they are short. Once Nuform has ordered your medication from the pharmacy, there is no refund, and dispensed medication cannot be returned. So stopping partway through a kit does not get money back. Nuform takes credit and US debit cards, not insurance, and may place a hold on your card first. A year of four-month kits costs $1,950, against $2,100 for six small kits. Nuform adds that prices may vary with the treatment you are prescribed.

Branded vs compounded

There is no FDA-approved sermorelin on the US market, so Nuform's sermorelin is compounded to order by a pharmacy. Nuform states that compounded medications are not FDA-approved. It does not publish the dose, the vial size or the concentration in a kit. Ask your provider how many vials a kit includes and what dose you will start on. Nuform says its pharmacies are licensed US 503A and 503B compounders and that every batch is tested by an outside lab for potency and purity. It describes the routine as one dose a night. Possible side effects Nuform lists include redness, itching or discomfort where you inject, flushing and headache. Nuform says sermorelin is not for anyone pregnant, breastfeeding, under 18, with active cancer or with certain pituitary conditions. Nuform also notes that sermorelin is not the same as HGH. It stimulates your own growth hormone production rather than replacing it, which is why results build over months. Nuform says most people notice better sleep first, somewhere between weeks four and eight.
