PlexusDx sells genetic tests, blood tests and supplements, and it also runs telehealth programs for weight loss and longevity. Sermorelin is one of its longevity programs, alongside NAD+, glutathione and GHK-Cu. It comes in two compounded forms. One is an injection under the skin. The other is a troche that dissolves in the mouth. A licensed provider chooses the form and the dose for you, and can change either as you respond. PlexusDx coordinates the care, licensed providers prescribe, and partner 503A pharmacies dispense. Eligible adults in all 50 states can enroll. How it works
The intake is online and takes about a minute, with no waiting room. A licensed provider in your state reviews it, often the same day and usually within one business day. In five states a scheduled video visit is required, and the provider will tell you if yours is one. If approved, your medication ships in discreet packaging from a US 503A pharmacy within three to five business days, with a dosing schedule. After that you get monthly check-ins, unlimited messaging and dose adjustments. Each refill is re-approved by your provider rather than shipped automatically. You can pause or stop between refills, with no fees and no contract. PlexusDx screens out people with a recent cancer diagnosis, pregnancy, critical illness or sermorelin allergy. A six-month commitment costs $129 a month, and that is the figure in the headline. Each price covers the provider visit, the prescription, the medication and shipping. There is no membership fee and no separate consult charge. Two promises are worth noting. Your price does not go up if your dose does, and the injection and troche cost the same. Nothing is charged until your provider approves the prescription. The page does not say whether the longer tiers are billed monthly or paid up front, so ask before choosing one. An optional genetic test is offered for $99 after your first month.
Branded vs compounded
There is no FDA-approved sermorelin on the US market, and PlexusDx states that compounded drugs are not FDA-approved or evaluated. Both forms are made to order for your prescription. The published human research on sermorelin used injections, so the troche is the less-studied route. PlexusDx says the provider weighs your goals, tolerance and preference when choosing, so say what you want at intake. The final call is still the provider's. You can switch forms later with approval, for example moving to the troche for travel. Switching form, tier or even compound carries no fee. No strength is published for either form. PlexusDx says most people notice deeper sleep by weeks four to six, with recovery and body changes over the following two months. The optional genetic test looks at 17 longevity markers, including FOXO3. It is an add-on, not a requirement.
