GobyMeds review
By Nora Vance · Updated October 2026
Three forms, no auto-renewal
GobyMeds sells sermorelin as an injection, a troche or a film strip, as one-time purchases with no subscription. The injection and troche cost $199 for four weeks, or $399 for twelve.
Our verdict
GobyMeds is a good fit if you want to buy sermorelin without signing up for automatic refills. It offers three forms at clear prices and states the dose for its oral forms. Watch the plan length: a "1-month" supply covers four weeks.

What it is
GobyMeds is an online telehealth company based in Dover, Delaware. It sells compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide, brand-name GLP-1s, testosterone support, hair-loss treatment, NAD+ and sermorelin. Sermorelin comes in three forms, each with its own page. There is a nightly injection, a troche or sublingual tablet that dissolves in the mouth, and a dissolvable film strip. All three are compounded by state-licensed pharmacies and need a prescription.
How it works
You complete a short online intake and upload a photo ID. A licensed US provider reviews your history and decides whether to prescribe. There is no video call unless your provider or your state requires one. Every order is reviewed by a provider before it ships, and orders ship in as little as three days. The injection kit includes insulin syringes, alcohol swabs and step-by-step instructions, and it ships refrigerated at no charge. Follow-up visits and messaging with the care team by chat, text and email are included. Your provider sets the nightly dose and can adjust it or switch your form at any follow-up. The injection goes under the skin of the belly or thigh at bedtime, usually five nights a week, on an empty stomach. GobyMeds says to skip sugar and carbs in the hour before a dose, rotate injection sites and keep the vial in the fridge. GobyMeds says sermorelin is not available in all states but does not list them.
Pricing transparency
Every plan is a one-time purchase that ships once, with no recurring billing. The injection and the troche are priced the same: $199 for a 1-month supply or $399 for a 3-month supply, which works out to $133 a month. GobyMeds defines the 1-month plan as four weeks and the 3-month plan as twelve. The film strip costs more, at $249 for four weeks or $449 for twelve. The online visit, follow-ups and shipping are included, and there is no membership fee. HSA and FSA cards are accepted, and GobyMeds can supply a letter of medical necessity if your plan asks for one. Because nothing renews, the cost is easy to plan. Four 12-week orders of the injection come to $1,596 for 48 weeks, while buying four weeks at a time runs $2,587 over a full year of thirteen orders. You can cancel anytime before an order ships. If a provider decides sermorelin is not right for you, the medication price is refunded in full. Once an order reaches the pharmacy, changes are not guaranteed and may carry a $50 consultation fee. Medication cannot be returned, and any lab fees are not refunded.
Branded vs compounded
There is no FDA-approved sermorelin on the US market, so all three GobyMeds forms are compounded, and the pages say so. The troche page states a nightly dose of 500 to 1000 mcg, and each film strip holds a fixed 1000 mcg. The injection page leaves the dose to your provider and does not print a vial size. The published human research on sermorelin used injections. The troche and film strip are less-studied routes, so ask the provider how they would choose between them. The film strip is stable at room temperature, which makes it the easiest form to travel with. The pharmacies are not named. GobyMeds expects better sleep and energy within the first month, with changes in recovery, skin and body composition building over three to six months. It lists redness or swelling where you inject, flushing, headache and dizziness as common. Joint aches, fluid retention or tingling hands can mean the dose is too high. It does not prescribe sermorelin during pregnancy or with active cancer.

The evidence behind what GobyMeds prescribes
We grade the molecules, not the marketing. Here is what the human data actually shows for each thing on their menu.
- Does sermorelin work? What the trials actually measured
Sermorelin reliably makes your pituitary release growth hormone. Beyond that the evidence is one placebo-controlled trial in 19 adults from 1997 — lean body mass up in men only, nothing in women, and no effect on sleep in either.
- Is Sermorelin FDA-Approved? The Real Answer
Sermorelin was FDA-approved once, under a different name, and that approval is gone. What is sold today is compounded — which is legal, but not the same thing as approved.
- Sermorelin Pills vs. Injections: Price and Evidence Compared
Sermorelin tablets and troches are often priced the same as the injection, sometimes higher, and have never been tested in a human trial. Real prices, seller by seller.
