Does Prime Doctor RX sell sermorelin?

By Nora Vance · Updated October 2026

Add-on for hormone-care patients

Prime Doctor RX offers sermorelin only as an optional add-on for patients in its hormone-care program. You cannot buy it on its own, and the site gives no sermorelin price or form.

Our verdict

Prime Doctor RX is a testosterone and weight-loss telehealth service with clear, published program prices. Sermorelin is a side door: eligible hormone-care patients may be offered it as an add-on, and nobody else can get it. If you are already considering TRT or enclomiphene, ask about it. If sermorelin is the only thing you want, this is not the place.

What it is

Prime Doctor RX is a veteran- and firefighter-owned telehealth service with two care paths: medical weight loss with GLP-1 medication, and hormone care for men. Hormone care covers injectable or topical testosterone and enclomiphene, a non-testosterone option. Under a heading it calls Metabolic and Cellular Optimization, eligible hormone-care patients may also be offered NAD+, sermorelin, or both. The company says plainly that these add-ons are not standalone programs and cannot be bought without the hormone-care evaluation.

How it works

You start the hormone-care intake online and complete your health history. A licensed clinician from Prime Doctor RX's partner medical group, OpenLoop Healthcare Partners, reviews it and may order labs, which cost $50 for the first panel. Visits can be live by video or phone, or handled through messages in the patient portal. If treatment is appropriate, the clinician prescribes and fulfillment is arranged, with discreet shipping. Sermorelin enters only at this point, as an add-on the clinician may offer if it fits. Hormone care is for men, testosterone from age 25 and enclomiphene from 18, in the states the site lists. Louisiana is not served. Testosterone is offered in 35 states plus Washington, D.C., including California, Florida, New York and Texas. Another 14 states, such as Georgia, North Carolina and Pennsylvania, get enclomiphene only. If you already take testosterone elsewhere, recent labs or a prior diagnosis may let you transfer without starting from scratch.

Pricing transparency

Prime Doctor RX publishes its program prices in full, which is more than most competitors do. TRT costs $169 every four weeks month to month, falling to an effective $119 a month on a 48-week prepaid plan. Enclomiphene costs $189 every four weeks, or $139 a month on 48 weeks prepaid. Initial hormone labs are $50. None of these figures is a sermorelin price, and the site does not say what the sermorelin add-on costs. Refunds can be requested at any time except for a month in which medication has already been ordered. Shorter prepaid TRT plans also exist: $447 for 12 weeks or $774 for 24 weeks. Enclomiphene runs $507 for 12 weeks, $894 for 24 or $1,668 for 48, with initial, month-one and quarterly labs and follow-ups listed. Recurring plans bill every 28 days. To stop the next renewal, cancel at least 72 hours before the billing date, through the portal or by email. Leaving a prepaid plan early refunds unused periods only, and completed periods may be recalculated at the higher month-to-month rate. So the real entry cost for sermorelin is a hormone plan plus whatever the add-on costs.

Branded vs compounded

The site does not say what form Prime Doctor RX's sermorelin takes, what dose it uses or which pharmacy makes it. It does say compounded medications are not FDA-approved, which applies here: no FDA-approved sermorelin is on the US market. Since sermorelin is only ever an add-on to hormone treatment, expect the clinician to set the form and dose as part of your wider plan, and ask about both before you agree. The billing policy warns that some medications are temperature-sensitive and may need special packaging. Report a damaged, wrong or warm delivery within 48 hours so the pharmacy can investigate.

Pros and watch-outs

What we like

  • Hormone-program prices published in full, with plan lengths
  • Lab-guided evaluation before treatment
  • Live or message-based visits
  • Medical group named on the site
  • Refund terms stated up front

Watch-outs

  • Sermorelin is not sold on its own

  • Not available in Louisiana

Best for

A man starting testosterone or enclomiphene through telehealth who would like his clinician to consider sermorelin as part of the same plan.

Who should look elsewhere

Women, anyone who wants sermorelin without hormone therapy, and shoppers comparing sermorelin prices. Prime Doctor RX offers it only as an add-on to its hormone program.

The evidence behind what Prime Doctor RX prescribes

We grade the molecules, not the marketing. Here is what the human data actually shows for each thing on their menu.

  • Does sermorelin work? What the trials actually measured

Sermorelin reliably makes your pituitary release growth hormone. Beyond that the evidence is one placebo-controlled trial in 19 adults from 1997 — lean body mass up in men only, nothing in women, and no effect on sleep in either.

  • Is Sermorelin FDA-Approved? The Real Answer

Sermorelin was FDA-approved once, under a different name, and that approval is gone. What is sold today is compounded — which is legal, but not the same thing as approved.

Frequently asked

Can I buy sermorelin on its own from Prime Doctor RX?
No. Prime Doctor RX says sermorelin is not available as a standalone purchase. Eligible patients who complete its hormone-care evaluation may be offered it as an add-on when clinically appropriate.
How much does sermorelin cost at Prime Doctor RX?
The site does not list a sermorelin price. Its published prices are for the hormone program: TRT from $169 every four weeks month to month, enclomiphene from $189, and $50 for initial labs. Ask what the add-on costs before you accept it.
Who can get sermorelin from Prime Doctor RX?
Only hormone-care patients, which means men starting testosterone from age 25 or enclomiphene from 18, in the states Prime Doctor RX serves. A clinician still has to decide that sermorelin is appropriate for you.
Do I need labs for Prime Doctor RX hormone care?
Usually. Prime Doctor RX describes hormone care as lab-guided, and initial labs cost $50. If you already take testosterone, recent labs or a prior diagnosis may shorten the process.
What is Metabolic and Cellular Optimization at Prime Doctor RX?
It is the name Prime Doctor RX gives to its add-ons for hormone-care patients: NAD+, sermorelin, or both. The clinical team offers them only when it judges them appropriate, and only after the hormone-care evaluation is complete.
What is Prime Doctor RX's refund policy?
Refunds can be requested at any time, except for a month in which medication has already been ordered. Fees are shown before you confirm enrollment.
Which states can get Prime Doctor RX hormone care?
Testosterone is offered in 35 states and Washington, D.C., and 14 more states can get enclomiphene only. Louisiana is not served under the current hormone protocol. Your location is confirmed during intake, and sermorelin follows the same hormone-care eligibility.
